Some fog development is expected over the next few hours across mainly far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with the fog possibly becoming locally dense in a few spots. The fog will dissipate by around mid morning, with sunny and warm conditions then prevailing. Afternoon high temperatures will range from the upper 70s to mid 80s.

Dry weather with warm days and seasonably cool nights will prevail through the forecast period. Upper ridging will keep the weather dry for an extended period, with large diurnal temperature ranges. Afternoon highs in the 80s, with overnight lows in the 50s to near 60, will be common. Have adjusted overnight lows down slightly from the NBM the next several nights, especially in the typically cooler locations.

Patchy to areas of reduced visibility are expected to continue to develop across mainly far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas through the early morning hours, with the potential for a period of patchy dense fog over parts of far northwest Arkansas. Will continue with Tempo groups for timing of greater potential of LIFR/IFR conditions. Visibility improves through mid morning with mostly clear to few/scattered mid clouds Friday afternoon. Mostly clear conditions return Friday evening. Winds through the period are forecast to be mainly light/variable across the CWA.
