1752 - A great hurricane produced a tide along the South Carolina coast which nearly inundated downtown Charleston. However, just before the tide reached the city, a shift in the wind caused the water level to drop five feet in ten minutes.

Bluff (Navajo: Tséłgaii Deezʼáhí) is a town in San Juan County, Utah, United States. The population was 240 at the 2020 census, down from 320 at the 2000 census, of which, at the time, it was a census-designated place. Bluff was incorporated in 2018. Ann Leppanen is currently the mayor.
