- Dry Conditions This Week
Increasing heights into tomorrow will keep the fair weather in place with lows overnight in the 40s and highs tomorrow in the 70s. Pressure heights will lower as a weak trough moves through Wednesday bringing with it some mid level moisture and increased cloud cover. Ample dry air at the surface should keep us dry, but combined with the lake breeze can`t completely rule out a stray light shower or sprinkle.
With the weak trough and front, not expecting much of a change in temperature with highs remaining in the upper 70s to low 80s and overnight lows largely in the 50s into the weekend.
- 20-30 Percent Chance for Rain/Storms This Weekend
An upper level low over eastern Canada will swing a trough axis through the region over the weekend. However there is uncertainty with the exact timing and strength of the trough. We`ll also have to watch if a warm front makes it into the area ahead of this low, which would provide additional lift and increase rain chances. There is some consensus that we could have some thunderstorms over the weekend with enough instability in place. Confidence in timing and placement of the rain should increase as we get closer.
