.DISCUSSION... Issued at 1142 PM CDT Tue Sep 9 2025

An upper trof over the eastern states slowly moves off to along the East Coast by Friday night and potentially drifts into the far western Atlantic on Saturday. Past this point, an upper low develops near the Mid Atlantic coast Sunday into Monday and persists into Tuesday. A large upper ridge over the central CONUS meanwhile slowly builds into a portion of the eastern states through this weekend, then is held in position by the developing upper low and slowly weakens. A surface ridge over the eastern states weakens through early next week and promotes a mostly northeasterly surface flow over the forecast area, except for a progressively better defined sea breeze circulation developing each afternoon from Saturday through Tuesday. Deep layer moisture remains too limited through the period to consider pops and have continued with a dry forecast through Tuesday.

Highs on Wednesday will be 85 to 90 then Thursday through Sunday will see highs around 90 into the lower 90s. Highs on Monday into Tuesday trend a bit warmer with highs on Tuesday mostly ranging from 90 to 95. Lows Wednesday night typically range from the lower 60s inland to the mid/upper 60s near the coast then slowly trend just a bit warmer by Monday night to range from the mid 60s inland to around 70 at the coast. A high risk of rip currents remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon, then a moderate risk is expected Wednesday night. A low risk of rip currents follows for Thursday through Sunday. /29
