- Quiet weather is expected through next week with mostly clear
  skies, cool nights, and slightly above normal afternoon highs.

/Overnight through Sunday Night/
Surface high pressure will generally remain in place over much of
the central and eastern CONUS through the rest of the weekend
keeping North Texas weather quiet. A broad shortwave trough will
spread out of the Desert Southwest this weekend resulting in an
increase in mid and high cloud cover, but we`ll remain far too dry
in the lower atmosphere for any precipitation. Temperatures will
top out in the mid/upper 80s over the weekend with cool clear
nights.

/Monday through Friday/
A benign weather pattern will persist through much of the upcoming
week with mid level ridging slowly building back into the Plains
through mid week. Temperatures will continue to run slightly above
normal with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s, but low
afternoon humidity will make it a little more comfortable. With
broad zonal flow across much of the central U.S., we`ll see rain
chances near zero through the week before the upper pattern
becomes a little more active headed into next weekend.
