.KEY MESSAGES...
- Small precipitation chances tonight (70% chance) for most locations Friday then continuing into at least the weekend. An upper wave over the Great Basin is displaced northeast into the northern Plains late this weekend. There may be enough forcing this far south for some precipitation but chances continue to be less than 50%. Any cold front with this wave should stay well north of the local area for somewhat above normal temperatures to persist into the mid week on moderate south winds.

.AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z THURSDAY/... Issued at 1234 PM CDT Wed Sep 10 2025
VFR conditions are expected. Chances for showers to impact the terminals in the next few hours have diminished based on observation and model trends. There is another small chance for high-based showers in the 06Z to 13Z window but too small to include. Winds should be light mainly from the south to southeast but enough mixing with some mid to high cloud to keep diurnal BR potential low.
